Se Busca Mezcal is produced in Oaxaca, the spiritual home of mezcal. The brand’s philosophy celebrates Mexico’s cultural heritage and the traditional craft of mezcal production.

The Joven Madrecuixe expression is made from Agave Karwinskii (Madrecuixe), a wild agave species known for producing mezcal with striking aromatic intensity and minerality. Unlike cultivated agave varieties, Madrecuixe grows tall and slender and can take up to 12–15 years to mature.

Traditional mezcal techniques are used throughout production. The agave piñas are roasted in underground earthen pits, crushed (often with traditional tahona methods), fermented naturally, and distilled in copper stills.

The result is a mezcal that highlights the unique personality of the Madrecuixe agave—complex, structured, and expressive.
