In 2021, Nikka unveiled a limited-edition single malt from Miyagikyo, crafted by Master Blender Yumi Ozaki. This rare expression blends heavily peated malt with lightly peated malts, creating a bold yet elegant interpretation of the distillery's signature style.

Nose : Fruity aromas of red and exotic fruits paired with woody, lightly smoked oak notes, with peat subtly in the background.

Palate : Smooth peat emerges, complementing fruity flavors with surprising iodine and salt notes.

Finish : Persistent iodine and salt tones transition into retro olfaction with hints of bitter cocoa.
