From the heart of Tochigi Prefecture, the Kobayashi Sake Brewery channels generations of brewing mastery into the Houou Biden label, revered for its expressive, elegant ginjo sake. In a creative expansion of this heritage, the brewery began crafting yuzu liqueurs with the same artisanal dedication.

The fruit, sourced mainly from Tokushima and Oita, is infused into a junmai ginjo sake base, using both juice and peel to capture the yuzu’s full aromatic and flavor spectrum. No artificial additives are used, preserving the fruit’s natural charm.

This liqueur reflects the philosophy of balance — the harmony of acidity, bitterness, and texture — marrying nature’s purity with a brewer’s skill. It’s not merely a drink, but a seasonal snapshot of Japan’s citrus terroir.
