For this bottling, the Master Distiller sources high-quality casks from Portugal that previously held sweet Ruby Port, a fortified wine known for its deep color and berry-rich flavor.

The maturation process creates a whisky that feels distinctly festive. The porous oak of the Port pipes imparts a deep bronze color and profound notes of dried fruits—raisins, sultanas, and figs. These heavier flavors integrate with the classic vanilla and citrus notes of the Arran malt, creating a profile reminiscent of fruitcake or spiced baked apples.
